MISSION STATEMENT

Cache County Sheriff's Animal Services mission is to provide and promote the most caring and humane treatment for the animals in our care.

We will strive to be at the forefront of providing resources for stray and abandoned animals as we practice the principles of socially conscious animal housing, as well as proper pet ownership throughout the valley.

*When adopting we do require you to bring in any family pets to meet your new pet. All animals must be on leashes or in carriers. Cats are optional!*

Cache County Animal Service's Fee's

Please bring proof of Rabies and Licensing (if your town requires them to be licensed) At time of picking up your animals.

1st Impound per dog: $40.00

2nd Impound per dog w/in 12 months: $75.00

  ^plus sterilization deposit (mandated with 2nd impound unsterilized): $150.00

3rd Impound w/in 12months and potential citation: $140.00

Boarding fee/dog/24hrs after impound up to 5 business days: $18.00

Microchip: $35.00

Rabies: $20.00

Quarantine Fee: Paid by owner for 10 days: $35.00/per day 10 days: $350.00

Our Impound Facility is not a public Veterniary Clinic.  For medical procedures not associated with an impound, please contact your pets veternarian for medical questions and service.

Licensing Information (City)

Cache County

*FIRST please check to make sure you are applying for the correct dog license.
*All unincorporated county dog tags expire December 31 of each year.
*The cost to License each dog is $10 and any credit card processing fees.
*Rabies vaccination must be good for 6 months past the licensing date.
*Please submit one application for each dog.
*APPROVAL by LAND USE AUTHORITY is REQUIRED if you have more than 6 adult dogs.

*If you no longer own a dog, please call the Cache County Clerk's Office so we can update our records. If you have questions, call (435)755-1460.

LOGAN

*All dogs over four (4) months of age shall be registered with division of animal control 

*All dogs must be registered to an adult (18 years or older)

*Registrations shall be renewed yearly and are due on the last day of the month in which it was purchased 

*A current rabies vaccination certification receipt from your veterinarian must be presented to purchase a license 

*$25.00 Intact male/spayed female dog

*$10.00 Neutered male/spayed female dog

*$3.00 replacement license (only if original is lost)

Additional licensing information will be available at a later date as we continue working with every city and town in our county to make this process seamless for our citizens
