Build an Agricultural Building

All agricultural structures must meet the qualifications of an agricultural use under State Code §15A-1-202 [1], [14] and §15A-1-204 [11].

A building permit for the agricultural structure is not required: however, if you intend to add any electrical, plumbing and/or mechanical a builing permit is required. If you intend to use the structure for anything outside of an agricultural use, a building permit for the structure is required.

An agricultural structure may NOT be converted to habitable structure at anytime. The building division has not reviewed the plans or conducted inspections during construction for code compliant.
